Remember the little kitty I took in and then (sadly) had to take to The
House of Mews?  I just got email from the founder, Elaine Harvey.  Spotty
had had a bout of diarrhea a week or so ago and was put on medication.  He's
well over that, she says, and he's been adopted!  He goes to his forever
home tomorrow!

Awww, the sweet little boy who lived in my bathroom (much to Persia's
chagrin) for a few days has now found a loving home.  I'm so very, very
happy!  A happy ending for what was a very sweet little cat.  YAY!!!

I'm so glad to hear that, it was very nice of Elaine to let you know. Purrs
for Spotty to have a long and happy life in his new home.

I kept emailing, checking on Spotty's progress.  I wanted to go visit Spotty
but I was afraid Spotty would think I was going to take him home.  I'm a
coward.  I just posted a photo to ABPA - she sent me a picture.  Spotty
never actually looked up at me the entire time he was with me.  He's got a
mustache!

That's great news, Jill.  Without you taking pity on him he probably would
have died of starvation.  You now have karma++

I'm so happy for him and for you.  I'll bet he is going to be beautiful once
he fills out and his fur recovers.  Or I should say even more beautiful.

Here's what he looks like now:

He looks pretty fluffy and happy.  Rather serious and with a mustache like
Frank Zappa (LOL) but cute!  I can tell you his long fur, even when it was
so very matted, was soft and nice to touch.  I hope his new hoomins take
good care of him.  He was a sweet cat.

Yes, he does clean up nicely, doesn't he?  Won't be long before he graduates
from a basket to a box!  LOL  Why do cats like baskets and boxes anyway?
It's as if they intend to say "I'll fit in the smallest possible place, yes
I will, I'll show you!" :D

Great! You've helped take this guy from a hungry stray to a
soon-to-be-pampered pet!

What a little beauty he is.  Has Persia forgiven you yet?

Yes, Persia did forgive me :)  She's finally deigned to go into the bathroom
where I held Spotty in captivity until I could take him to the shelter.

Woo-hoo!  That is wonderful news :-)

Bless you, Jill, for rescuing him, and may he have a long, wonderful,
happy life in his new forever home.
