This time, another pile of feathers in the exact same place, also two
halves of a beak, I have give 'em credit they don't leave much to clean

You may have sent this to the wrong group.  This is a cat group.  I feel
your pain though, because I am a poultry keeper myself and I know what this
feels like.  Hope you find the predator and are able to take steps to ensure
it won't return.

I was assuming that the predator *was* a cat.

Never assume anything unless you witness it yourself.

It wasn't much of an assumption. He's posted to this group before, and
with the smiley-wink emoticon, it wasn't much of a stretch to figure
out his kitty got a bird.

Oh, yes, I did miss it, I thought a predator had got his chickens! <blush>
