You already know about Dante's fondness for moving small objects
around the house, and also for bringing some of those objects to my
attention.  This morning, when I awoke, I was in a typical, slightly
awkward position, lying on my stomach, with one arm stretched out
behind me, palm up.

And in that open palm, there was a Q-Tip.  ;)

All I can think is that Dante is very attentive to ears and whether or
not they need cleaning.  So this may have been in the way of a gentle
hint.  :)

What a sweet guy. Always surprising his meowmie with a "just because"
present. =o) I'm glad to hear it was a nice, clean q-tip, considering
um...the kinds of surprises cats  sometimes leave around for us to
find. ;o)

Oh yeah (flashing back to Stinky's generous offering of a
not-quite-dead mouse in bed :O)

Oh I'm sure he meant mine.  Either that, or he meant me to bat the
Q-tip around the floor, too. ;)

Perhaps he feels that you aren't attending to his every need because
you're not *hearing* him well enough? :)

Awwwwwwww!!!!!

Now if you wake up and the food bowl is in your hand, be very afraid.

One morning i woke up with my lower back hurting.  After a moment i
found that it was hurting in one particular spot.

Then I roll over and the pain stops suddenly.

I look back and the pain was because there was a stuffed mousy in the
bed.

And apparently i had been sleeping on it.............

*sigh*

Well, at least it wasn't a real, not-quite-dead one.  Stinky did that
to me a couple of years ago.
