My niece has posted some new pictures of her cats (and her paternal
granddad). There's a hilarious series of Emil (Miranda's brother) eating
a cardboard box.

Miranda's mother Kira looks just as worried as ever. Kasper seems to
feel very at home on the dining table.

Wow. She is so good. That pic of Emil is hilarious. Kira is sooo cute.
Those cats have the most amazing fur. I want to go to her house just to
eat :D

Yes, I was thinking our dinner invitation was lost in the mail! :-)

You know, if Caliban were over there, those foods wouldn't look
photogenic for very long. :)

Tak! Where have you been?

>Tak! Where have you been?

Someone always asks me that every few months! :)  I've been here a
little every few days.  I might not have been around too much last
week though - it was pretty busy.

Besides, what is there for me to say?  All I see in front of me are
pawprints in the snow, being filled in by the wind, as I stumble to
follow.

I used to think that Frank had very soft fur. Then I touched a Russian
Blue for the first time. I can't describe how soft that fur is. I still
marvel at it every time I stroke Miranda. It's softer than the softest
velvet. It's like a feathery whisper.

Then there is Caliban. His fur is not softer than Mir's, but it's so
sleek and shiny. It doesn't just look sleek and shiny, it *feels* sleek
and shiny. I've never felt fur like his before, either.

That sounds kind of like Roxy's fur. Hers also feels "sleek and shiny".
Smudge's fur is soft, but Roxy's is like *satin*. No friction there at
all.

Licky's fur is a bit coarse to stroke, but when I run my fingers
through it, it's very thick and dense. Lots of hairs per square inch
of surface area. :) I sometimes call him my "plush cat".

Kira is very beautiful.  For some reason, I really liked the picture
of Emil being held.  Trusting kitties are so limp!  At first, I
thought it was a continuation of the Kasper picture, and that he was
being removed from the table.

Heheh.  I have never had a boneless cat before,
but Muezza.Glorio has got the gene.  When I put
him up on my shoulder, unlike all my previous
cats, he does not stand up and balance
precariously like a parrot.  He slumps and hangs
over my shoulder with his back legs hanging down
like a frog....he looks exactly like that boneless
cat of the girl with the naturally curly hair in the
Peanuts comics (Schultz) whatshername...Freida?

It is most endearing!  Now to get a picture.....

Ah the joys of a cardboard-eating cat. Just like Francis :-)

I take it Francis is doing well?

Soncek eats and scratches cardboard boxes too. Great pics! Thanks.
Best wishes,
