Today we got the bomb that our manager bailed and took another
position with the company that aquired us. He's been telling me for
months to trust him, that he will stand behind me. So much for
someones word when it comes down to it.

Now I get to report to our division director. We do not get along. In
short, I can't stand him. He's already got me doing "coordinator"
work and had me arrange our weekly staff meetings.

Another of our group also bailed and took a position with a project
manager in another part of our group. God, I'm so pissed off I can't
see straight. I've been doing project manager work for her. Actually,
I'm still working on a project plan tonight that's due Monday.  For
her.

Our old boss told us today that he is going to have the diversity
director of the new company meet with us all to help us find
opportunities within the company. If that doesn't spell out that our
jobs are doomed, I don't know what does.

I'm so sorry, Cheryl! All I can offer is purrs for you to find
something that works for you. I know much easier said than done.
(((hugs))) (that seems very insufficient but it's the best I can offer
:(  )

I'm so sorry to hear about all the trouble you are having at work. Purrs
that it all works out for the best.

Purrs for things to work out, don't let the stress make you to ill.

A lot of soul-soothing purrs from us
and keep the faith - even if it`s hard.

Sincere purrs from someone who is also in "job jeopardy" - I know *exactly*
how you feel.  *HUGE* purrs that the US economy will recover from the
current administration as quickly as possible before more Americans are out
of work and, as far as our government is concerned, out of luck.

No meaningful advice to offer, but our pair are sending calming purrs
your way along with "get a great job soon" purrs.
