Ok, to observe Dia de los Muertos in a small way, I'm going to my
local burrito boutique-- mysteriously manned by Chinese people-- and
pick up one of their ambrosial chicken burritos-- I do not understand
it, but those things are addictive.  Well, as some of you may recall,
Stinky is addicted to them too-- in fact, they seem to turn him into a
George-Romero-like Burrito Zombie, coming at me relentlessly,
unstoppably, not seeming to recognize me,  not even waiting for an
opening, but plunging right in, and tearing at the tortilla-- in fact,
while he grabs chunks of chicken if he can, the sauce-covered tortilla
seems to be his favorite part.

Back!  Back!  Black and white Hellspawn!  I have a silver bullet right
here!  Oh well, you know I don't.  Here, have some chikkie pieces.
I'm so whipped.  The cat that ate my brain. ;)

Ever watched /Shawn of the Dead/?  New take on an oldie, but totally
hilarious!

I once saw about 5 minutes of a movie called "Day of the Living *Bread*"
on TV. People were attacked by slices of Wonder bread. I'm amazed that
someone actually made a full-length feature film based on this concept,
but for 5 minutes, it was bizarrely amusing. Might have made a cute Monty
Python skit or something.

Oh, whoops - it's called *Night* of the Living Bread:

But was the bread crying out "GRAAAAAAAINS, GRAAAAAAINS!" or what?

I'm afraid I didn't see enough of it to know what the bread had to say.
The only part I saw was a person's front lawn at night with a bunch of
very bright white slices of bread all over it. Then a person came
walking by and the bread started flying at him/her and sticking to
their body.

In some ways, that is better than the Sunrise approach. It is possible
to keep her away from your food but it is nearly impossible to keep her
from standing at a distance inhaling the delectable goodness. After she
has inhaled for awhile, she will sneeze. Spicey food, especially,
causes her to sneeze often and well. She seems to enjoy it. Usually,
you can keep your food protected but there are no guarantees.

Did we get this cat from another planet?

Stinky is such a gorgeous "cookie"... and if he eats burritos it's easy to
figure out why!  LOL
