Great pictures as usual, the last one of Caliban looks like he's thinking of
what to do next. :-)

Poor lil' Mirmir looks like her footsies are cold.  I hope you helped
warm them up when she came back in!
Caliban is actually posing, isn't he?  What a ham.  A darling ham,
though.

Heh, twice I've had to go out and drag Miranda inside under loud
protests because I could see her shivering, but she didn't want to leave
the birdies. I keep telling her she can watch them through the window!

Caliban loves the camera. :oP

Hey, he's kind of a cookie himself!  Maybe a cinnamon bun. ;)

The cats were very excited about the snow, though they would stop now
and then to shake a paw and shoot me a reproachful glance for making it
so cold. ;o)

He is a round cookie, yes. Actually, he's more like a seal. His fur is
very smooth, like a seal's.

Sometimes when Betty was on my lap, she would do that stretch where
she would extend her arms with them pressed against herself, stretch
out her body, and tuck her chin.  It made her look like a little seal.
That always got her hugged.

I think Caliban is hoping that he'll get fed some raw meat if he stays
up there.

Aww! I know that stance. It's very cute.

Lately, I've been feeding Caliban the same as Miranda, mostly. I thought
he might lose some weight on a meat-only diet, but he hasn't. He just
gets rounder and rounder.

OK, the meat-only diet may not have been strict enough. The other day, I
cooked spaghetti, and he raided the colander for leftover strands of
pasta. yesterday, I made a vegetable soup, and he went wild when I
opened the tin of maize. He ended up eating 3 tablespoons of maize, and
I think he would have eaten more if I had let him. The other day he dug
out a very stale piece of bread and gnawed on it for ages. There's a
reason why he has his own song, Food Hound.

OOoooo. I just want to SMURGLE Caliban. He sooooo reminds me of my Amigo.
Does his nose turn deep rose when he gets playful? Amigo's always did. I
loved that. ANd his eyes would get all round and cartoonish. OOooooo.

Caliban's eyes are always round and cartoonish. :oP But yes, his nose
gets a deeper red when he's excited, or he's been outside in the snow.
Frank's pink nose was the same.

Her ears are extremely far forward. She looks *very* attentive.

And look at all the kitty prints in the snow!!

Loved the pics, Marina. But I felt suddenly very cold looking at
all that snow! It just seems too early for it. :(  Where does the
time go.

It is much too early. First we had the warmest summer in 100 years. Then
we had the warmest autumn in about as long. Then we suddenly get snow in
November. Usually people bet on whether we'll get a white Christmas or
not. This is much too early.
