I was having my breakfast yesterday morning when Mojo returned from his
nocturnal patrol and announced his arrival with what I mistook for a
cheary "morning all" sort of meaouw. Five minutes later Mjoj decided he
was ready for some serious lap time and plonked himself down in me and
proceeded to remove feathers from between his toes. I had of course
mistaken "Mojo the mighty hunter has returned!' for "morning all" and
sure enough in the kitchen was a pile of feathers, nothing else, no
bones, no skin, just feathers, I suspect the rest was inside Mojo.

Nikki had a very distinctive 'hunter's song' every time she brought home
prey, so I always knew she was bringing home something. She didn't catch
birds very often, though. She'd rather go diving for water voles.
