There > would be no sorting through it. I highly recommend reporting spammers in order to alleviate that feeling. I report them to their usenet provider, their email provider, and SpamCop, and anybody else I can think of. It scratches an itch, you know? And every so often an ISP or some other provider sends me a followup email to say that the offender has been cut off. It may only be a drop in the bucket, but it feels right.
