I got the enclosure cleaned up from weeds, and now that I'm not so
freaked out about the dead bunny (RIP poor Bugs) the lil
dudes got a day out yesterday.  A little chilly, but they loved
it. Bad part was the next door neighbors dog yapping at them the
whole time. Bonnie wouldn't go out due to said dog.  Funny thing
about the d-thing: my fence has a couple of planks missing big
enough for her to get through. She practically did when she saw
the cats. Then when she saw they weren't *that* afraid of her, she
stayed clear of the spot in the fence with the missing planks, and
chose to bark at them through a smaller hole.  LOL  Guess who was
more scared?  hehehe  Yes, I know I need to fix my fence.

Rhett from the back looks just like Caliban! And hey, mine are digging a
hole, too! This is some world-wide conspiracy! I'll have to tape my
camera back together again so I can take a pic of the hole. They never
let me see any of them digging, but the hole is there. Just like yours,
right at the edge of the enclosure.

Did they put a picture of Rita Heyworth over the hole after digging? :)

LOL! No, it did surprise me that they hadn't tried to hide it. Maybe
they thought, if I never see anyone digging, I won't notice the hole. I
don't think they have a very favourable opinion of my intelligence. :o/

Here's a picture of the hole (and Miranda trying to act as if she
doesn't know it's there. Hole? What hole? I don't know anything about a
hole.):

Here Mir is still ignoring the hole, and Caliban is staring past it as
if he doesn't see it there:

Miranda is the picture of innocence, I agree, but it looks to me as
though Caliban is staring right into it. What can he be thinking about?
What is he plotting?

That's a nice enclosure! Could the little yappy dog get into it?
She might get through the fence, but she'd still be outside the
enclosure, wouldn't she?

No, she can't get in the enclosure. It's attached to the deck posts,
and ends about 5 or 6 feet from the fence. Close enough that I'm
amazed at how bold they are going up to the edge to see what all the
noise is about. Scarlett was making the chirpy "prey" noises that she
makes when she sees birds or bugs. Wierd. I think she was telling her
(the dog) to STFU. ;)

> How funny they are all digging in the same spot! Sham looks good!

It's either a mole down there (I must have at least a couple of
moles in my yard) or chipmunks. I've seen them scurrying about,
too. The enclosure dirt seems to be a popular spot for a mole
because I often see mounds of dirt and the fake grass stuff I have
in there looks like it has a tunnel under it. It gets really muddy
in the enclosure when it rains, and the mat keeps it half-way
decent.

Shamrock does look good, doesn't he! His lesions only come out on
the back of his legs these days, and the base of his tail. I
remember when his sides were affected, too. Sides, and along his
spine. Right now the back of one leg is a little scabby, but not
infected any more, and he mostly leaves it alone, so it must not be
as itchy as it usually is. Finally found something that works
without risking diabetes. Though it has other risks, but can't
think of that right now. It's the only thing that works.

Oh my god, it's a wormhole! His head goes into the hole, and comes out
in photographs of other cats!
