Try some Liv-a-Littles (manufactured by Halo) if you are looking for a
special "treat" for your furbabies and haven't tried them yet.  I got the
"Whole Chicken" flavor, made from freeze-dried chicken.  They look
completely unpalatable to me -- sort of like eating styrofoam -- but both
cats love them.  Duffy is a little food vacuum cleaner on 4 legs, but Holly
is very selective.  This is the "only" treat she will eat.  I have to give
Duffy his first because he is so eager for it that he head butts the
container while I put some in his bowl.  Then I have to *very* quickly give
some to Holly to prevent him from gobbling his up and then heading for hers.
In fact, he tried to get hers today, but she just batted him away and kept
right on eating.  I can't buy them around here, so I order them online.

Incidentally, the instructions say that it must be refrigerated after
opening.  It would be easy to miss that because they don't *look* like
something that would need to be refrigerated.
