I suppose you're referring to the operation where they will remove his
tooth? That's not until next Wednesday, but as everyone probably knows,
I'm a terrible worry-wart when it comes to the cats and started dfriving
myself crazy weeks ago. ;o)

He did have his teeth cleaned and the abscess emptied a few weeks ago,
and he has been fine since then. In fact, when we got home from TED's
that day, he went straight for the food bowl and didn't leave for about
an hour. He got a course of antibiotics, and the abscess cleared up, and
as a special bonus, his eternal sniffles also cleared up! He's had many
courses of antibiotics for his stuffy nose, and none of them worked, but
this was some new kind we haven't tried before. TED said it works
especially well for infections in the mouth, but obviously it works well
on the whole head. Of course, his nasal infection may have been at least
partly due to his dental infection.
