I really feel for the girl! The part where she cries herself to sleep
really got to me. I lost a few cats as a child and I remember how much
that hurt.

I hope they find him soon!

Aw that's very sad.  But you know, it might be okay
to make the move, and keep in close touch or
daily visiting with new owners just in case he
shows his face.  Paying a second mortgage
seems a bit extreme...if the cat is going to
come home, the new owners will see him.

It did not mention whether the new home was
also in Aberdeen, or another town altogether.
