I got up in the middle of the night to read, and to have a light
snack.
Buster, who pretty much stays on the bed, often under a pillow or
inside a pillowcase (security issues?), decided to join me on the
couch. While this was nice, Buster has sharp and pointy fish-hook
claws, so his pouncing on my bare abdomen required relocation to the
couch.
Little Feet took up the cushion between my feet, and Little Boy went
immediately to the top of the couch above me, eventually (carefully
and gently) stepping down onto my chest. He then settled into my left
arm, and purred while I read, occasionally kissing me on the mouth
(this is why I call him kissakitten), to let me know he loves me.
Eventually, I tired a little (reading in the dark, on a PDA will do
that, but I am quickly making my way through the first ten Terry
Goodkind books this way (grin). As I start to get up, the boys get up
too.
Little Feet leaps up onto the cat tree by the window, and stretches
out. Little Boy jumps up onto the TV set, then onto the cat tree,
right next to Little Feet. Buster, who NEVER jumps up on the cat tree,
does so tonight. I now have all three boys cuddled up on one spot.
It's like a wall of furr as I pet them all.
Dulce Mae is now on the TV set, and is jealous, as she complains that
she isn't getting petted. That's one reason I have two hands (big
grin).
Finally, I head back to bed. After about fifteen minutes, Buster comes
leaping onto the bed as well, and tries to force his way up underneath
Senyah's pillow, although he usually prefers mine. Senyah pushes him
away, and he snuggles up against my pillow. I kiss him on the head and
we all go to sleep.
Hugs and Purrs,
Mark
