Although I'm mostly vegetarian nowadays, today I had a craving for
sushi, so I bought some sashimi-grade tuna at the store and some toro
they had (gorgeous looking piece of fish!) fresh from Costa Rica (gotta
love globalization!).
Anyhow, I made tuna tartare with heirloom tomatoes and meyer lemon, tuna
sashimi with spicy ponzu, and toro nuta (my version of a local
restaurant's toro with almonds and cranberries... to die for!).
While doing this, I was also helping Tom upload the new version of his
website (check it out, http://soulofthegarden.com, let me know if you
find any broken links!), so I left the tuna unattended on the kitchen
counter for a while. Guess what the crew did? I had a bowl with the
ponzu sauce next to a covered bowl with the tuna. They somehow managed
to uncover the tuna and drag some tuna pieces to the bowl with ponzu! I
guess normal people would have thrown the tuna away, but I just put it
all together and served it. It was delicious! :)

Heck, you don't know and don't care who handled the fish before you bought
it.  So what if the gang tried to help you put it together.  Jake would not
have left any tuna for us.  He adores raw tuna.

Wow, I'm surprised they left it.  I'm sure cat don't mind a little
spice.

Missing your furballs? Where are they? Or, where are you?

By the emoticon at the end of the sentence, I gather this is a business
trip?

No fish whether cooked or raw is safe in this house.

Victor, I love Tom's website and pictures. On my dialup connection the only
way I can see most of the pictures is to look at the source code, find the
image names and paths, and look at the images one by one in another browser
window.

Denver should be quite a change. You might even see some snow.

I wouldn't have had respect for them otherwise :-)
