The weather is finally behaving normally again after a couple of days of
nasty storms and unusually warm (for this time of year) temperatures.  Today
was in the 70's and sunny with a nice breeze.  I sat on the patio and Persia
lounged in her Kitty Walk.  She flopped down on her side in the sunshine and
gave herself a good washing.  I was sitting on my covered swing reading an
old book I dug out of my stacks.  Persia wanted inside again after a bit but
she lounged on the window sill behind me, meowing at me from time to time
through the screen so I'd turn around and talk to her :)

What a nice way to spend the afternoon. What old book are you reading? I am
reading a new series to me by Kaytlin Brennan, the first of which is called
Mountain Song and now I'm reading the second called Song of Unmaking.  It is
a nice fantasy book.  The first two are paperback and I rarely keep
paperback books.  If anyone is interested in reading this fantasy about a
world with white stallions as gods I'd be happy to mail it to you...at the
same time I mail the boxes of litterbox offerings and a package to
Ginger-lynn. No telling who is going to get what...just consider it potluck
mail :)

It's a book called 'Firestorm' by Iris Johansen.  It was a very pleasant
afternoon.  Persia enjoys sitting out there with me and it's nice the
weather permitted it :)

Potluck mail indeed!  Can you imagine the image that first came into my
head
when you said you were sending a box of litterbox offerings?  Poor
Ginger-lynn,
I thought, what did she say that was so terrible?!  8^P

I guess maybe you meant litterbox offers, perhaps, eh? ;-D
