Everything went well with the biopsy.  I'm sure this is because Sam had a
world of purrs behind him today.  Thank you all.  The vet said he did really
well with the anesthetic and didn't have any breathing problems.  I had
given him 2 puffs of albuterol this morning and they gave him two puffs just
before the surgery.  So now we have to wait for the biopsy results to come
back which will be next week sometime, most likely.

Poor Sam has a large square shaved off his side but only one stitch so
that's good.  He's supposed to be kept quiet for two weeks. He's already
jumped on and off the bed twice and explored the house.  I did call to
confirm jumping off the bed was alright and they said the only thing that
could happen is that he'd be sore.

Thank you all again for the purrs. Now we'll concentrate on sending purrs
out to everyone else.

And we all will still concentrate on some purrs for Sam that everything
turn out all right

I'm glad to hear he's ok. When do they get the results from the biopsy?

And if I had read the entire message carefully, I would have seen you
said next week. :)

I'm so glad everything went well.  Purrs that the biopsy results come
back with good news.

I'm so happy for you two! Hehe, jumping on and off the bed - sounds like
he wasn't much bothered by his ordeal.

Great news, Julie.  Purrs continuing for a benign dx and a
quickly-effective treatment plan.

Good news that he came through well enough to be jumping on and off a bed.
We will continue to send purrs for a good outcome from the biopsy.  Whatever
it is, at least you'll know and be in a better position to decide what, if
anything, is the next step.

That's great news.

Give him a scritch from me, and I hope you're able to collapse and relax
for awhile...

It's five minutes into next week Eastern Standard Time.  Oh it's too
early? :)  Then I will continue purring for Sam's results to be good.

We are sending lots of purrs for Sam from over the pond.  My computer was
playing up and "hanging" on links so I didn't get to view the pics until
tonight.
Has your vet said what he thinks it is yet?

Thanks Tweed. We haven't heard yet. I'm hoping to get results tomorrow.  The
vet told me to call him tomorrow afternoon if I hadn't heard from him before
then. Hopefully there will be some news.
