I'm sorry I've been negligent in replying to posts. I've been so busy
working and Dennis has been home this month and I've been trying to
maximize time spent with him.
Vino is improving lots, he's gained all his weight back and is pretty
much back to normal. He has had no problems peeing. He has had a
personality change though. He is much, much more of a lap cat than he
ever was. He has to have lap time for hours every night and is very
cuddly in bed too. He also never begs for food anymore, ever. I will
put food down and he will ignore it, but will come back and eat it
later. Very weird. But he is eating it.
It took him 3 months, but he has eaten 1 case of s/d cans and 1 1.8 kg
bag of s/d kibble. So now he has switched onto the c/d, which is the
maintenance diet. He likes it much, much, much better. In fact, he
gobbled down so much last night that this morning he had the runs.
Oops, I guess that's my fault. I should have gradually introduced it
instead of finishing the s/d and then switching over cold turkey. We'll
be keeping an eye on him to make sure it's nothing else, but I'm pretty
sure it's the sudden switch over from the other food.
Dennis is leaving on Tuesday, so they are maximizing their cuddle time
together. I know Vino will miss his big lap a lot. He will have to
settle for the small lap for the next 4 weeks.
Purrs for everyone that needs them. I am way behind on my reading but
will try to catch up once Dennis is gone.

I figured that was the case! :)

Isn't that great? Smudge has been a lot more affectionate and cuddly
since her ordeal in the neighbor's garage. I swear, they know when
they've had a crisis (in Vino's case, a very serious one), and they
know who saved their butt!

So how's the job going? Have they been training you to do other stuff
besides the cellar job?
