Yes. Or rather, that was the closest I could get in English with hsi
Swedish nickname Klabben, which has evolved into Klabbis, Klabbisen and
Klabbi-Klabbi. Klabb can be a piece of firewood or just a clod. Not very
flattering, but it just suits him so well, the clumsy little b*gger.

I always tell people I'm not talking to myself, I'm talking to the cats.

That was so funny! Do you really go through this every morning?
Caliban sure is eager and pushy where his food is concerned. But I
expect the calories burn off all too quick.
Just think how boring catless people's lives are. ;-)

And sad. And quiet. =o) Think of all the fun and flattering
attentiveness they're missing. I usually wake up to Francesca playing
with my hair as her way of telling me it's Kitty Breakfast Time. Now
that it's a little chillier in the mornings, Nina is usually down by my
feet checking out Greebling infestations. Unfortunately, she sometimes
mistakes my toes for Greeblings. THAT makes for rather rapid
awakenings on my part and the howl of "NIIIINAAA!! STOP that!"
LOL, Marina. =o) "Get out of the Refrigerator" is a command I say a
lot.

I'm afraid he doesn't burn calories quite as fast as he can scarf them
down. Caliban is an absolute food hound. And each and every time I open
the fridge, he comes hurtling from wherever he happens to be and flings
himself into the fridge. Miranda has learned from him, and now even she
will take a step inside the fridge sometimes. Yes, that was an accurate
account of our mornings.
> Just think how boring catless people's lives are. ;-)
Ain't that the truth! Last summer, I took the cats to the island at
Midsummer, then I left them there with my Mum while I came back to town
to work for another week. That week without the cats was soooo long and
dreary! I had to call Mum every day so she could tell me what the cats
were up to and how Miranda was eating etc.

<a great recounting of her mornings which I regretfully snipped>
We have our own ritual here but I can SO relate. Great recounting the tale!
