I think the tooth fairy HATES me!

I was adjusting my pillow, in preparation for kicking back and reading
a bit, when I found that the tooth fairy had left me a surprise.

It wasn't a dollar. It wasn't even a quarter. It was a humongous
hairball. Not to mention, I hadn't even put a tooth under my pillow. I
hasve no idea what I did to irritate the tooth fairy.

Good thing Buster wasn't under the pillow as he usually is, when the
tooth fairy did that...

AAWWW, that must have been uncomfortable for him. He really needed to
get it up and out. But quite a surprise for you. Has he always slept
_under_ the pillow? Or is this new behaviour?

Yes, he's always been an under-pillow sleeper - head out one side,
butt out the other (grin).

That wasn't left by the tooth fairy. That was left by the HAIRBALL fairy.
She must have confused your home with the home of the pair of birds trying
to build a nest. That was supposed to go to THEM so they could use it for
insulation.

Meanwhile, those poor birds are looking under THEIR pillows, finding
teeth, and wondering what in heck they're supposed to use them for. Oh,
dear.

There must have been a glitch in the Fairy Master Computer, for the
deliveries to get goofed up like that. I hate when that happens. ;o)

No, the birds found coins! Even less useful than teeth to them, I'll bet.
(Unless they're the kind of birds that like shiny things.)

Ah yes, the famous Hairy Fairy.  Somewhat related to Cousin Itt, I
think, on account of the fact that she cannot see anything for all the
hair in front of her eyes, which is why you see her gifts lying about
in the most unaccountable of places!

LOL!  I have still had only one hairball ever from my two cats.  At least in
the house, maybe they hurk them up outside?

If they are shorthair cats, odds are they weren't big enough to throw
up, but just passed through the system with the feces.  If they are
longhair cats, then you are probably right, they are likely tossing
them somewhere outside.

They are both shorthairs.
I used to read posts about hurking hairballs and be surprised.  Hairballs?
Then I found a finger shaped "thingie" on my hearthrug, identified as a
hairball.  This was (and is) the one and only.
