My first mama cat would lie on the back of the sofa and
deliberately dangle her tail down inviting her kittens to
play with it!  (True, she'd switch it faster as they pursued
it, but it was definitely aq deliverate aqction on her part.)

But couldn't you just *hear* her long-suffering
((((sigh, i just need a nap before the next feed))))
as she headed for the bottom floor of the cave?
