Hi Adrian

I remember a while ago when the subject of lap cats came up you said
Baggy who was 3 had not sat on your lap.

Well at the weekend, Redunzel who has never sat on a lap in all her 3
years came and sat on mine! For some reason she was all over me (She
heard I got a stash of Cosmic cat scratchers complete with da good
nip?) even coming onto the bed and sleeping on top of me, which she has
never done before

So perhaps Baggy will follow suit

I hope so. :-) I thought he might last night actually, he jumped up on the
arm of the chair, looked at me and jumped down again. Maybe one day he will.

There is hope! Maya has always hated being on you (though she likes
being right next to you). However, lately I've noticed she will come and
sit on your lap for a few minutes while meatloafing. I hope that as she
grows older (she and Luna are 7 now) she will like it more and more. :)
It's not like she doesn't like affection, she is very jealous and will
come running and demand pettins if she can see you petting another cat.
Crazy girlie.

I might have a while to wait then, Baggy was three in July. :-)

Scouty's still a big chicken... but she's started coming and climbing
onto my lap while I'm sitting at the computer desk! I thought it was a
fluke the first time but she's done it five or six times in the last
fortnight... she'll walk back and forth in front of me and put one paw
onto my tummy a few times and scrape up her courage, then eventually
take the plunge and sit on my tummy and purr her head off. I'm SO
PROUD of my brave girl :)
