In lots of ways I think it would! Then I think about the pets
rehomed due to abandondment and then found later if they were
implanted a chip.  I just thought of that, just now. That wouldn't
be good unless there were laws to protect pets in new homes. And of
course, that'll never happen. Maybe they're better off as a whole
being allowed to hide. :(
