My red-dot greebling maker arrived last week and we've been playing with it.
Billy could chase it all day and so could Beatrice. Tommy's into it too but
just a bit less than Billy and Bea. Lily likes to chase it but will not
climb the walls after it like Billy, Bea and Tommy will.

As to the others, Eli is indifferent, Abelard is afraid (!) and Baby Eyes is
intrigued but not quite sure if she wants to mess with it.

Far sooner than I anticipated, ALL the cats know EXACTLY where the dot comes
from and it's a challenge to me keeping all seven from looking directly at
my hand during playtime.

Billy, Bea and Tommy know the instant I pick up the device that they're
going to get a workout. Whenever I pick the thing up, they come running and
sit at my feet looking up expectantly.

I have one question about it, for those of you who also own a greebling
producer: How long do the batteries last?

It probably depends on the device, but if you don't use it for a while
you should take the batteries out.  I didn't, and a month went by, and I
had dead batteries.

I've never had one last until the battery wore out.  We either lose them or
they break.

I've had mine over a year now, still the original battery. I don't use it
every day but when I do both cats chase it, I love to see Snoopy play. :-)

I'll have to get one of those; Jasmine is getting  a bit, well, fluffy and
