What is it with cats and tummies?

I was lying on the bed, trying to read, when Little Boy jumped up on
the bed. He slowly walks in my direction. He comes within two feet of
me, then suddenly, he leaps on my stomach. He *could* have sedately
approached, and *stepped* onto my stomach, but noooo, he had to leap
from two feet away.

Okay, so we cuddled for awhile after that, while I set my book aside.

Little Boy walks away, and I see Dulce Mae in "vulture mode" on the
corner of the dresser near the bed. Without warning, she leaps from
the dresser, using my stomach to launch the next step of her zoomies.
She bounces around the room, makes a bank shot off the corner of the
bed, runs into and out of the bath tub, leaps onto the bed, right onto
my stomach, then back to the dresser. She turns around and looks at
me, raising one eyebrow at me before she starts cleaning.

Finally, Little Feet decides to bounce on me. I don't think he really
intended to, as it seemed he was trying to recover from me being too
close to the edge of the bed. Still, he got in a good bounce, but with
claws out.

One day, a doctor will ask me to remove my shirt, and will comment on
all the bruises and perforations. I fear that he will turn Senyah in
as an abusive wife, before I can explain about the cats (big grin).

Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

Better when you're awake than when you're asleep, with a
full bladder! :-)

Amen!  Smokey's figured out JUST where to knead to make me get out of
bed and run for the bathroom!

Tyche is confused why I don't want 12 pounds of kitty standing on my
(ulcer filled) tummy.  And she hates when I pick up her paws.  If she's
on my gut and getting ready to settle, I roll on to my side quickly.
My hip and thigh can take the weight and she'll curl up and go to sleep
there.
