Well, I've moved and the masters have adapted well. I was worried
someone would get stressed and get a bladder infection or something, but
nope, alls good. Mattie loves the stairs. If I am awake, she sits at
the tops of them. But if I am asleep, she is either sleeping on top of
me or halfway down the stairs on a step. It is quite funny really. I
laugh at her a lot. The other two just go up and down the stairs to use
the litter boxes that are down there. Don't ask me to describe the
stair situation. Yes, I have a flight of stairs in my apartment. No I
don't have a town home. I live on the second floor. No I don't share
the stairs with anyone else. But describing how it is arranged is
difficult without actually seeing it. Suffice it to say, there is
enough room at the foot of the stairs for my litter boxes (and a wall
hanging coat rack) so I just scoop the litter boxes on my way out the
apartment each morning and throw the bag in the dumpster. It is really
quite the great arrangement. I never have a stinky litter box in the
apartment because one of the cats has decided to let loose a really
smelly one. It all stays down at the foot of the stairs.
I'm 90% unpacked now and I'm going to spend today, or at least part of
it getting at least 95% unpacked. Then I'll take my shower and do some
homework.

maybe there used to be a door down there? It's like built in exercise
for the kitties! I've always thought stairs would be nice just for
kitty exercise. I know they would love them.

Welcome back Bridget. I was unpacking this time last year. Glad to hear
the cats are enjoying their new digs. The litterbox arrangement sounds
very nifty.
