Don't know where this came from, but it's hilarious!
Magic Mood Jeep? - 20 Oct 2004 00:55 GMT
I can tell from the added laugh-track at the end, that this was aired on
Americas Funniest Home Videos.

I feel sorry for the kitten trying to walk on the cactus :(

Otherwise, though, hilarious.

I've seen this before.  The cat emerging from the sofa resembles
Stinky.  I love the cat rubbing its face on the baby, and the one
pounding on the toy dog.  I especially love the music-- it's Rossini,
and it's perfect.

We lost our little orange tabby female Baby Cat when she was a young cat.
She had the ability to boss everyone, cats and hoomins to do what she wanted
them to do. It was quite amazing to see her in action.

One thing she did I seldom tell people because I don't know if I would
believe it if someone told me!  The fact that she had to think up this game,
then communicate it to the other two cats just blows my mind away!

We had a tall and wide dresser with a solid back about four inches away from
a window that was high up in a wall in a guest bedroom.  I was a pleasant
room and I would go in to read on occassion.  I would hear strange sounds
coming from the back of the dresser, like a long swishing sound and once in
a while a gentle thud.  This went on for a while, David couldn't identify it
either other than to say that the cats were back there probably playing.
The next day when all this was going on I tip toed over to the back of the
dresser and tilted my head sideways, the better to see back there.  Looking
out at me was Baby Cat with her head tilted sideways.  The cats were arching
themselves so their backs were against the wall and their feet were running
all over the back of the dresser.  They were having such a wonderful time
except when one would fall (the thud) then up they would go for another
round.  I put a blanket down to soften their fall.  David and I laughed for
a long time at Baby Cat and her team of two sideway speed demons.

They do wonderfully silly things, don't they?  Mimi used to do
something similar-- she would crawl under a bed or sofa, turn over on
her back, and sort of *walk* upside down all over the bottom of the
bed-- pulling herself along with her claws.  This could get quite
enthusiastic, and wasn't too good for the furniture.;)  I would look
under, too, and she would always have a completely crazed look on her
face. ;)

Buttercup does that under blankets on the bed...  you'll see the little
upsidedown paw prints running all over the bed.  Ming thinks it's a
whole herd of bed mice and just has to pounce on them.  That leads to
all kinds of silliness.

Our Ivy (RB) would do that, but she'd do it in order to get to the top of a
7 foot entertainment unit.  One major difference, though:  she would have
her back to the solid part of the entertainment unit, and slaw into the
wallpaper!

I could spend a whole day watching that! Aren't cats/kittens just wonderful?

Nikki used to do that, too! I haven't seen her doing it lately. Once,
when I had bought a round ottoman, she would go around and around it
like that, stop and look at me with huge black eyes, then go around and
around again. So funny.

Why do they pick the things to do that they do?  Did Nikki get dizzy going
round and round and round like that?  Was Frank there to observe?  What did
he think of this?

She didn't seem dizzy, and she went at it for a long time. Frank just
ignored her. ;o)

What smart kitties!! Or, what a smart cat Baby Cat was, to figure out
and then teach the others. Sounds like they had a great time for themselves.

They did.  She also created the "Club House"  I know that other cats have
created club houses also.  The left cabinet door under the kitchen sink was
*the* door to the club house.  She and the other kitties would go in and out
that door only.  When then were in there and I should, stupidly open one of
the other three doors I would get the Glare of Death with an admonishment,
"That is a wall, please close the wall, if you want anything come to the
door!!!!"  Geeesh.
I had removed anything in the cabinets that could hurt them so they had a
lot of space.  I have no idea what they did in the clubhouse, I wasn't
allowed in you understand!  They did have fun.

It was great.  I liked the one where the kitty saw himself in the mirror.
