Tonight's low temp. could go below 60°. Our months-long heat wave is
officially over. Cats and people alike are rejoicing in SW Missouri today.

Well, it's hotter than 71! :) It finally rained yesterday, so that
cooled us down a bit. But we're expected to get back in the 100s later
this week. :(

I went car camping this weekend.  Well, I joined my friends for one
night of it; was there about 24 hours.  The variation in temperature
(both actual and perceived) in the mountains is amazing -- it was too
hot to comfortably wear a long-sleeved shirt during the day (I should
know, since I neglected to bring a t-shirt), but cold enough that the
dog's water bowl had a layer of ice on it overnight!  Went from about
75 F to about 30 F.
