It doesn't matter how much you know something is coming- it's still a shock when it does. The hospital I work at is being closed down in 8 weeks time so I'm looking at redundancy. The job market seems to be so unsettled these days, with so many redundancies and layoffs. Good luck with finding something even better. I need to get things into perspective- just to add to it all- Jasper Dudely (on the rpch+b group) crossed the bridge this morning so now I'm a complete nervous wreck! But if you weren't happy there, you might just wake up in a day or two to realize that you have a new opportunity here. And perhaps, a welcome breather between jobs. And when you go on interviews, you won't have to try to explain why you left this job, as there will be no doubt about that! I hope you find something quickly! I think we all know that many medical-type positions are in huge demand.
