It took us three days to drive from the S. Carolina Coast to Corpus Christi,
Texas. We have a rental minivan with an awesome air conditioning system.
Rosie and Cinder rode in roomy hard-sided travel crates.
They certainly like boating better than traveling by car. Cinder complained
(made me think of Marina's Frank), and Rosie was her usual stoic self. They
were good in the motel rooms.
When we turned them loose in the house, they knew right away where they
were, even though the house is empty. Rosie kept asking to go out, but we
made her wait a couple of days because we have been too busy running around
taking care of business.
This afternoon, we went outside with them, and they had a good time lolling
around on the concrete and sniffing around the plants.
Then, they wanted to go back in and now are napping.
Sunday, we leave, heading to the Northwest to spend the fall and winter
spoiling that new grandson.
The bare kitten, by the way, is doing great, especially considering that he
is not even supposed to be born for another three weeks. His mom reports
that he is an easy baby.
Annie, Jim, Rosie and Cinder, all moving targets

Did I miss details? You left NC in kind of a hurry. You know, name,
weight, etc. Eye color, does he have hair. etc.

Length 19 inches, weight 6 lb 2 oz, peachfuzz hair light brown. Eyes dark
blue, probably will turn brown. I hesitate to put names and exact location
on the Internet. Just a little paranoid, I guess.
Mom and baby are doing great. He's gaining weight and she's losing it
(weight, I mean) (grin)
Thanks for asking.

Sounds like just a perfect armful of grandson to me. To lots and lots of
love in his life.
Youngest grandson just got his first football game uniform and is parading
around the house in it. Time flies.

I love thee newborns. They are so soft and make the cutest little sounds. We
can hardly wait to get up there and start spoiling him.
Best wishes to you and your family, both with fur and without, through the
generations.
