Here is a website where you can see a video of cats talking.

They're talented!  The second one was just too cute.  I wonder if
Jill's Persia sounds like that? :)  The last one was odd.

I don't know about Persia, but that's what Miranda says to me. If I call
her name, she will often answer 'Ma-ma?'

I like how it's phrased as a question.  It's so cute!

I've seen that last one before, with the captions. That poor kitty, he
looks kind of scared. It sounds like the noises he's making are meant
to scare off whoever/whatever is making him nervous.

And the one where the guy asks, "Do you love me?" Remember a while
ago someone posted a video of a cat making weird noises and weird
faces, and everyone thought something was wrong with the cat? Then
someone finally noticed there was a hand near the cat's rear end,
scratching it at the base of its tail? This cat is getting very
similar attentions, and it's also making weird faces and sounds. So
maybe some cats do that when scratched right at the base of their
tail.

I did love the first one, though. "Hello?" "Hello!" I swear, that
cat really was trying to imitate a person saying Hello! (Doing a
pretty good job of it, too.)

I was wondering what was going on with that kitty.  Is it in heat?  Do
cats sing the blues when they're in heat?  Is it in league with the
Devil?  Whatever it is, it's the worst earworm.  I can't get the
"lyrics" out of my head.

"Oh my dog.  Oh long John.  Oh long Johnson.  Oh Don Piano.  Why I
eyes ya.  All the live long day."

That was me.  It must not be an uncommon thing!

Well, I guess you never know, but that doesn't sound like any cat in
heat I've ever heard. Their in-heat cry is more trill-y, and has a rising
inflection. It's loud and *very* insistent.

Wow, you remember it all! The person who came up with those words
certainly had an active imagination.
