What would your cat save.

We all save things that remind us of an event in our lives, a favorite
photo, that special book.

If your cat could save one or 2 things, what would they be? Would it be a
favorite toy, his first bed, a photo of someone who helped her. It can't be
something that would spoil such as food.

Cinnamon: her purple yarn ball and a plastic spider ( her favorite toys)

Abby: her round bed

Sam: any toy that has a bell in them

Neat question!

Shamrock: Hmmm... his interests change so often I can't think of a
single constant object. Maybe the laser pointer. Even though he
knows where the red bug comes from, it still sets him wild.

Rhett: An icecube. (Scarlett: Hey stupid, that spoils) Oh yeah,
that goes away.  I just thought I lost it under the 'fridge. I
don't worry about it because there seems to be an unlimited supply
of them.

Bonnie: Mousie toys! (play-n-squeek mousies - she still sings to
them daily)

Scarlett: My tennis ball.  My tiny rattly mousies that I hide under
the couch so no one else can play with them.  My toilet paper roll.
My shiny noisy crinkly ball that I keep finding downstairs that I
have to keep bringing back upstairs. My ping pong ball. My little
mousie with the bell on the tail (yup, keep finding *that*
downstairs and have to lug it up the stairs to play with it, too).

Probably her cuddler where she sleeps.  MLB

Holly:  Her little red leather mouse.  She brings it to me every evening as
a "gift" and drops it right at my feet.  She always finds it even if I have
picked it up while cleaning and put it in some out-of-the-way (to me) spot.

Duffy:  His cat tree (he has two of them, and his favorite is in whichever
room we happen to be at the time).  He scrambles up and down with the
agility of a squirrel.  He absolutely loves it.

Mistletoe:  Mr. Red Dot!  And Paw's 'puter, where the best snuggles are.

Smokey:  MY cat tree by the window.  And Mom's pillow.

Mistletoe again:  Is NOT your cat tree.  It's MINE!  I just let you use
it when I don't want it.

Cute! Miranda would save a rope toy that she has played with ever since
she learned to walk. I still have it, though it's disintegrated into
three thinner ropes. She's pretty happy with any piece of string, though.

Caliban would like to save food, but that's not allowed - and actually,
he wouldn't save it, that's his problem. ;o) He would like to save a
photo of the island. He doesn't realise that we'll be going back next
summer, poor boy. Miranda is being a mean big sister and not telling him.

Awww, he misses it?  Poor boy.  All animals understand that things
change with the seasons.  Maybe they should undergo harness training
to work off their energy. :)

Rusty will save his window hammock where he loves to sleep.

Oscar would save her licky-socks (what am I saying?  She *does* save
her licky socks!  She's been licking them her whole life; they look
like masses of tangled fuzz!).  And her cat dancer.  I really think
they're all she needs in life.

It would be unanimous, the girls would have to save their fishing pole
toy with the leather tassel on the end. =o)

Francesca would save a pillow off my bed, while Nina would save a roll
of toilet paper to unroll and bedeck the halls with.

I think Memphis would have to save Phoenix. Memphis doesn't play much,
except the zoomies with his friend, and if separated at night, he yowls! Not
that he wants to snuggle, just know where he is!

Phoenix - Think it would have to be the table tennis ball that he chases
under the furniture!

Redunzel: Red laser dot greeble and the turbo scratcher (Only toys she
likes)

Sarrasine: Having deputised Redunzel to get red laser dot greeble,
she'd grab her brush and feather onna stick!

Tippy would save his rubber lizard (he has chewed all the legs off so it now
looks more like a snake). He loves to carry it around with him and throw it up
in the air.

Teddy would save the artificial flowers on the bathroom vanity. She likes to
get up there in the morning while I'm gettting ready for work and rub up
against them and stick her head in. She is constantly rearranging them.

Smokey  would save a roll of toilet paper so he can unravel it.

Sweetpea would save our bed where she spends the majority of her time.

Dante: green froggy, orange mousie, and a sampling of pipe cleaners
and drinking straws.

Kumani:  MomDad's Watch, because some day, she is going to CATCH and
EAT that light bug. (the reflection from his watch)

Tyche:  OMG THE FOOD

Nocturne:  keys to the secret fuhrer bunker, the nuclear codes, cards
to swiss bank accounts, etc.  (okay, probably her donut bed, and/or the
brown chair where she sits enthroned)

Smokey:  the couch, and the roof too if he could.

Please.  One does not store weapons grade uranium in one's own HOME.

--Nocturne

I don't want to know whose home she HAS stored it under.  Unless it's
someone terrible, like some of the evil bosses of people around here.

I invite the Queen of Darkness to store it under the bed of one of our
HR advisers who just managed to send me, by mistake, a draft that says
as of probably tomorrow we are going to be told this place is closing
and our jobs are all at risk. I've known it was coming for a while but
now I'm under strict instructions not to tell any of my colleagues many
of whom are close friends.

They're talking about we could be transferred to other hospitals in the
group but they're all mostly too far away for me to get to!

Guess I might be off list for a while soon

That's a tough position to be in.  I mean your situation would be unpleasant
anyway, but knowing and not being allowed to discuss it are worse, IMNSHO.

That sucks Lesley.  What an unfair position to be in.

Then again, forewarned is forearmed.  You'll be more ready for the hit
than a lot of others.  Don't let anyone else know you knew in advance,
since it wasn't your fault and there was nothing you could do.  And
start updating your resume.

best of luck.

Excellent, that shall do nicely.  Also, I have two vials of Ebola.

As the meeting has now been moved to Tuesday I am faced with another
day of keeping schtum however that does give time for the Queen of
Darkness to arrange one of those vials to reach me.....

And yes my resume is up to date and I have interviews lined up. I'm
probably "safe" in that I've got the senority and there are always jobs
for people wot can spel medical wurds!

Where was the beverage warning? I'm glad I'd just swallowed my tea when I

That part gave me a much-needed chuckle at work today. I'm sorry about

Soncek would save his fur mousies that rattle and the empty boxes in
which he hides himself.

I would save that toy that Mommy doesn't get out very often, the shiny
paper strips on a stick with the bell, because it's just SO COOL!
