RANT!!! UPS Cat Food Snafu

Arrrggghh.

I ordered a variety of cat food from Pet Food Direct. Supposed to be
delivered Friday, but did not come. Long story short, the UPS man put
it one *someone's* porch. I have no idea whose. Apparently he doesn't
either. They can't find it.

Bootsie is very upset. When the UPS tracking-idiot was taking info. for
their "investigation", he asked what was in the package. When I told
him, he was like "Oh, well; at least it wasn't anything important."
Pissed me off BAD. Bootsie won't eat just any old cat food, and by the
time they either get around to finding it (which I doubt)....or Pet
Food Direct ships another, it's gonna be at least 2 weeks.

They say the "investigation" will take 8 days. WHAAAAHH?? There are
1,000 people in this whole town. . I could knock on every door and find
the damn cat food in less than 8 days.

I will *never ever ever ever* depend on an internet source for cat food
again.

Then I had the floor installers out here for the nth time to fix their
screw-ups. What is it anymore that PEOPLE JUST CAN'T DO THEIR
JOBS!!!?????

Rant is over. Thanks for listening.

Perhaps you could get your local radio or TV station to do a public
service announcement for "Lost Cat Food".   It could make a cute story for
them.  Best wishes.   MLB

Did you tell PFdirect about this? It seems they should be willing to
express it to you.

Arrgghh is right! Purrs that they find your food (erm, the cats' food)
ASAP. Though it seems like they're in no hurry, seeing as it's 'nothing
important'. Grrr.

Of course it will take eight days. They will do it by computer.

P.S. Ask them, where the investigation center is, visit them and take
Bootsie with you. I'll bet, she will have enough fresh prey there...

I found the package. I got in the car and just starting down the road
stopping at the neighbors houses. It was 2 miles down. The people who
got it intended to bring it by but just hadn't gotten around to it.
I think I'll just let UPS carry on with their investigation.

I would.  If you call and tell them you found it, they will just drop the
whole thing until next time they do it.

If and when they figure out where they left it and ask why you didn't call
them, just tell them you hadn't go around to it.  It was going to take you
eight days or so to find their number.

Yay! Well done! I wouldn't tell them either.
