I got back from DC last night, and Stinky is stuck to me like Uncle Goopy. That was after he ran around up and down the stairs, bouncing off all the walls for about two hours. I decided to let him meatloaf on my chest as long as he wanted. Last evening we went into the garage, and Dad came out to let us know that the cat was wandering around hollering for Mom. She can't even go outside without telling the cat that she's going out, and announcing her return each time she comes in. I've heard the hollering, too. Even so, he walks around yowling, like this kitty. That's kind of funny, but he overgrooms, which worries me more. I rarely go away for more than a couple of > days, because when I do, Stinky licks the fur off his butt. Which means he's stressed. When I had my dogs, I never had a holiday since 1976. When they went to RB I had a holiday in Germany in 2003 (first time abroad, first time flying) My neighbours looked after my cats and chickens and they were all fine - thankfully. I thought the cats might ignore me when I came home, sort of a punishment for leaving them. Nope. Glad to see me and couldn't wait to get back into the house. They were fed and looked after in the conservatory, quite nice with cat beds in, but not a patch on the house ;-) Tweed Welcome back Theresa, I hope you had a nice trip - but isn't it so much nicer to be home!!? All the huggies and purrs are really nice.
