When I was about 16 years old there was a little girl who lived down the
street. She was in advanced stages of leuikemia and wanted to go fishing.
She wore a kercheif; she didn't have any hair due to radiation treatments.
Dad took her and her father fishing in his boat. She caught a rather large
sized bass and was thrilled! This little girl walked up to me and and said,
something akin to wonder, "Your Daddy is wonderful!". I took her hand and
said, "Thank you for thinking so."
She died about 6 months later. Her father came over a couple of days later
and said that day on the boat was pretty much the best day his daughter had
ever had.
I talked with my father father yesterday. He called to tell me the
neighbors two black cats were chasing each other around the bushes and
didn't they look silly! He says he hates cats. Sure he does. (laugh). He
hates getting photos of Persia, too. (smirk) That's why when I had a photo
mug sent to him he argued with mom about who got it! LOL

My younger son always made out having got the cats was a stupid idea. Guess
who is always picking up Phoenix and saying 'come to Uncle Lukeys' room'!
Cat has him well under control...
