This little girl has been in the shelter since 2000.  That is at
least 6 years.  I can't imagine that.  At least she's in a foster
home.  Ok peeps, if you had a foster for 6 years, wouldn't you be
calling her "yours" by now?  ;)

My original intent in posting her Petfinder ad was to help find a
home (no, I do not know her or the fosterer), but now that I think
about it more, I think I hope she *doesn't* find an adopter, unless
the fosterer just can't keep her for good.  It would be hard for her,
a former feral, to have to adjust to another home.

Either way, new home or stay with fosterer, my gang is revving up the
purrs for her. She looks so sweet.

Perhaps her foster family cannot afford her care.  Not so much food as
medical.  I'm sure she considers it home.

Since she's been with a rescuer, I'm sure it's something like that.
Or, there is the problem that if you keep one, you have room for
one less.

Looking at these sites and pictures, I think I might be ready to
dive back into rescue work. I quit it because it was too
overwhelming. I'd cry for those I couldn't take in.  Maybe I will
do that again. Maybe I'm still too fragile to try. But when I see
oldsters on the Petfinder site, I want to save them.
