I was playing with Persia with her laser pointer (the keychain type like
Lesley won and MMJ has).  The batteries ran out!  The dot got progressively
less dot-like and finally it didn't do anything!  Persia was on the back of
the couch, pawing at it at the time.  I quickly donned my sandals and
grabbed my purse, saying, "Persia, I'll be right back!  We need new
batteries!  Stay there!"  I ran to the drug store and got more batteries.
I'll be darned if she wasn't sitting there waiting for me in the exact same
spot when I got back!  She's looking at me expectantly... I'm now going to
load up the batteries and let the games begin (again)!
