I met Britta and Dennis

Hi all:

Don't know what I've been thinking - I met Britta and Dennis on Tuesday and
haven't posted about it yet!

They came to my house after lunch and we had latte's and cookies and a
really good talk.  They're outgoing active people and have a wonderful
attitude about life - they enjoy their life and I really admire them for
starting the process to move to such a beautiful town in Australia.  We went
for a short walk in the park behind my house - I'm afraid I may have frozen
them out what with the cold wind that came up and them living in Thailand
and all.  Britta took some pics that they'll post in the We Met folder when
they get back.  You'll note the recently barren landscape since all the
leaves have dropped and things are browning up nicely for the winter.

Otis, of course, appeared to be a totally normal cat.  No screeching,
climbing up the screen, presenting of dead rodents, or meowing incessantly.
In fact, he wouldn't talk at all.  Both cats "sat"for their treats though,
so I was pretty proud of that - it just took three months to teach them!
Chester was friendly and loved the scritches.  He is a very beautiful cat
and visitors always like him lots.

I would loved to have met Vino and I know they'd have loved to have had him
with them.  They are so obviously besotted with their kitty - as most of us
are who have seen his photos!   He's lucky to be so spoiled.

I love Vino.  Especially in his wastebasket.  Especially with his
bananas. ;)

I love those two pictures, too. I even had the banana one on my desktop
for a while! He just looks so coy, the way he's looking back at the camera.

I like to rotate kitty pictures on my desktop. Right now I have one of a
greyish dilute tortie with her head down on the grass, looking straight at
a little grey mouse - whose color perfectly matches the cat's head. The
mouse is sniffing curiously at the cat. It's an adorable picture, and
probably came from someone in this group, but I can't remember who. Of
course, the mouse could have been a kitty snack in the next moment after
the shot was snapped, but in that moment, they look extremely cute together.

Marina, do you still have the other banana cat pic? The one where he's sitting
in the living room? That one is such a hoot. I'd like to save it to my HD if
you've still got it.
