She was lying on top of the scanner and then she started fidgeting
uncomfortably... I looked over and saw that she had somehow managed to
get a paw hooked onto the ventillation grid on the side of my
computer. She squirmed some more and her poor toe was being pulled
because one claw was thoroughly hooked up! I tried to wiggle her paw
loose for her but she just mewed because it hurt her :(
I ran and got the claw clippers to cut that claw because that was the
only way I could think of to free her, but when I got back she was
sitting up on the desk with her paw free! I grabbed her and checked
her paws for damage (none visible) but her claws were like scimitars,
so I clipped them for her over her protests... She's fine, but I feel
like I had a heart attack :P

Soncek would free himself too if I went near him with the clippers.
Best wishes,

That was not a bastard cat trick. That was a "clip my claws more often"
cry for help.

Yup, I'd say that she has joined the ranks of those cats that like to "punk"
us humans. I think that's the correct term. You know there's a syndicated
TV show called "Girls Behaving Badly" that pulls pranks and stunts to freak
people out. What we have here in the news group is "Cats Behaving Badly."
I think some of their pranks are worthy of the title\.
