Last night, we were all sound asleep. Or I *thought* we were all
asleep.
Dulce Mae was suggled up at my feet, her paws gripping the corner of
the bed. Senyah was slightly dozing, and softly snoring. I was out
like a light.
All of a sudden, there arose such a clatter... oh wait, wrong story.
Senyah woke up at the noise in the kitchen. I opened one eye just a
little bit. Hmmm, cats playing.
Little Feet came running into the bedroom, and jumped up on Senyah's
pillow. His tail, tummy and feet were wet. Little Boy jumped up on the
bed, went over to Little Feet, and sniffed him to see if Little Feet
was okay.
Little Feet slapped Little Boy, and settled down on Senyah's pillow to
sulk.
As near as I can figure, this is what happened: We keep some water in
one of the sinks, since the cats seem to enjoy drinking from the sink.
Wherever Little Feet is, Little Boy can be found - really trying to be
friends. Little Feet likes to sleep on the counter near the sink.
When Little Boy moves his not inconsiderable body around, he must have
knocked Little Feet into the sink.
Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

Mischief - 13 Aug 2006 04:26 GMT
I have a similar story. It was back in 2003 when i first adopted Imp.
He was my only cat for about three months until Mischief showed up
But while Imp was alone he also liked coming onto my bed and purring.
He doesn't do that anymore, *sniff* it was so nice when he would.
Anyway this was about the time he discovered the toilet. He would go
into the bathroom after i had flushed and would peek inside, "Hmm,
what is that?" And even though he had a water dish a good three feet
from the toilet, he seemed insistent on getting a better look. I did
catch him a few times with his front paws on the seat and him peering
in. Once I caught him dipping in his paw and licking it.
One morning i woke up about 6 and went to the bathroom. I sat down and
immediately got up again. The toilet seat was wet. I wiped it off and
wondered how in the heck it got that way.
I went back to bed and after i settled down, Imp jumped up and walked
up to me, purring. I started petting him. He laid down and was
enjoying it, and then grabbed my hand in his front paws and started
love kicking it. IT was then that I noticed it.
His paws and tummy were wet. AHA!!!
He's not much of a jumper so my guess is he jumped up and slipped in.
silly boy!
