We have just had a whopper of a hail storm -- hail starting small then
getting to be like marbles. This was followed by torrential rain. The
gardens are flooded and the sidewalks are like rivers. The thunder and
lightning have returned with more rain. In the 44 years I have lived
here, I have never seen such a sudden, fierce storm. It is starting again
and I am signing off. MLB

TuTu was scared witless. She clung around my ankles and her belly was to
the ground when she crept along. This storm came in 3 waves. The hail
covered the lawns like snow. My neighbor planted new flowers the day
before she left on a 2 week vacation. They are ruined. I am grateful
though it wasn't a "Katrine" storm. MLB
