I missed the Caliversary. It was one year ago on the 8th that the little
stripey boy was brought to me by his fosterer. Here he is on his first
day, exploring his new home:

Miranda kept hissing at him the first week, but at the same time she was
fascinated with this new little family member and couldn't help watching
from a distance as he played and played and played.

Caliban soon learned how to use a computer:

And he soon made friends with Miranda:

And with Unka Frank:

I browsed through the pics and stumbled upon the one with Caliban as a
cute striped bitty!

Of course something so tiny, so fluffy and so cute just HAS to grow up
to be a little terror

I think you can see it in his eyes in that picture.

I told him today that I was very happy that he joined the family a year
ago. Then I asked him if he was happy to be here. He went to his food
bowl and looked hopeful. :oP

Eek! curious, gawky, long-legged, stripey-bellied kitten fever warning
needed.

Sorry, forgot the warning, though I'm still overwhelmed by the cuteness
every day, even though he's such a big boy already.

It's easy to be overwhelmed by the cuteness of Caliban. All those
stripes, the white muzzle, the pink nose... and all the silly poses
he gets into! I love the one of him lying on the keyboard.

And just as I read this, I had a similar *Ooops* reaction. The 8th also
happens to be Nico's birthday. So he's a big boy of 2 years now. Had to
find him (he was snoozing under our bed) to offer my belated
congratulations on the big day. Will be giving the kitties nip-drops
later (like chocolate drops but no chocolate).

Happy Caliversary!  I've got a real soft spot for Caliban - he makes me
laugh just seeing pictures!  He's just such a big lanky floppy boy and he
gets a long so well with other cats.  Congratulations to both of you - for
Caliban to find such a perfect forever home and for you on having such a
sweet boy live with you.

http://community.webshots.com/photo/369334917/1382780854058511339QYpDzj

It is just so...... kittenish!  He doesn't know which way he's going (or
which way he *wants* to go), and that floppy/fuzzy carrot-stick tail!!!

But I must remember that Weeb's *3rd* Purrday is coming up later this month!
His annifursary and purrday are celebrated on the same day, sine he was an
*itty* ittybittybit when I got him!  Here he is just 3 days after I brought
him inside (his umbilical cord had finally fell off):

I know, it's an incredible shot (not mine). I thought he looked like
just the right mix of mischief and cuteness for a friend for Miranda.
