Bonnie and Clyde spent a time sniffing the daffodils this morning.    It's
been a long, cold, wet winter but spring is in the air.   Officially spring
starts in New Zealand on 1st September but we won't be here to see it.   We
leave on a cruise on 25th August and will sail from Tahiti to Hawaii.   I
have reluctantly booked the cats into a cattery.  I know they will be safe
and well cared for in the cattery as opposed to leaving them with a house
sitter I don't know very well.  They won't like it though!!!

FSP doesn't mind the winter because she is wearing the warmest fur coat
you've ever seen.   She is shedding it now  and has to be thoroughly brushed
and combed every night to prevent knotting.

If you can step on nine daisies all at once it's springtime.

I enjoy your annual springtime posts, Bev.  Somehow this year's post
brought to my mind memories of your springtime post when Ollie decided
to eat your flowers, or did he sit on them?  Can't remember.

Have a wonderful trip!  Will you be able to share your adventures with
us on your return?

Tish,   I always think of Ollie in the springtime.   He plunged around in
the daffodils, ate them, kissed them, slept in them.   I will never know
another cat like him and will always miss him and wonder what happened to
him.

Yes, I will share the adventures from our trip.   Hopefully I will meet some
interesting cats as well as people :)
