Cleo went into a coma last night, we made her comfortable, gave her
cuddles, talked to her telling her it was OK to go.
Been a very emotional time, she has been my DH constant companion for
15 of her 17 years, she came into my nearly 5 years ago.
She slipped away a few minutes ago.
Sorry got to go, can't stop crying but I wanted to let all you lovely
people know who took the time to email me with your thoughts and purrs.
Lois (who's hearts breaking right now.)

Purring and praying for you and DH's broken heart, and Cleo's gentle
crossing. Cleo must have loved you all greatly to have stayed with you so
long; I'm sure she knew she was on her way to a place where there is no
pain and she can run again in strength and joy, until you meet again.
Blessed be,

Oh, I'm so sorry. She's been hanging on so long, I'm glad at least
that she went peacefully. I think that that's always a comfort,
knowing that things were peaceful, even until the end.

{{{Lois and Ken}}} I am so very sorry for your heartbreak. I will light a
candle to help Cleo on her journey to the Bridge and will keep both of you
in my thoughts and prayers in the coming days. Cleo will be waiting for you
at the Bridge and in the meantime has two Shards of Heart to show off to the
other kitties at the Bridge. May the hole she left soon be filled with
happy memories of the years you shared with her.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Cleo. It sounds like she didn't suffer
at all at the end, which is a blessing, however small.
It is so very, very sad and unfair that we are destined to outlive our
furry loved ones.
I also have my 2 RB kitties buried in my back yard, under my lilac
bushes, with a pair of home made stone markers. I like having them
'close by'.
Many purrs for your grieving hearts.
I'm sorry I'm late reading about Cleo; I haven't had time to read the
newsgroup of late.
But I have just lit a candle in my very special glass candle holder in
the shape of a sleeping cat, in remembrance of Cleo. The cat is curled
around the place where the candle goes. I have burned so many candles in
it for RB kitties, including my own...Sigh....
