Victor, I've been meaning to ask (going out to look at the pictures Annie posted reminded me again)... were the pictures you posted on "RPCA Pictures" professionally done (I noticed one said "Photo by Tom..." - is that your Tom, is he the photographer?)? If they were not done by a professional, were I you (or Tom), I'd seriously think about changing professions and becoming a photographer. The lighting, composition, clarity, and emotive quality of those pictures are truly amazing! You can almost smell the flowers as you look at the pictures. I can't believe how he captured even the textures of the leaves and blooms. I liked the ones you took too - I thought the cactus sporting a crown of snow was awesome. It seems talent runs in your family, the birdhouse your dad made was quite artistic also. You know, I've been looking for a photographer to take portraits of my babies, and I think there are lots of people who would pay for photos as good as these. If only the day had 48 hours... he just recently had to quit writing for the Good Life Magazine, he just doesn't have the time anymore. I think I would get a *very* large property and turn it into a home for all the homeless kitties I could take in - complete with indoor/outdoor playrooms and lots and lots of neat climbing toys. LOL, I just went to get this book and look at it again when I noticed hundreds and hundreds of tiny claw indentations on the cover from cats walking over it on the coffee table all these years (it was published in 1992).
