Purrs for a successful integration

Hi all

A while back I posted the story of Smirnoff the impostor and her
kittens.

As I mentioned one of them was going to a guy called Bill. I admit to
being a bit worried as Bill had never had a cat before let alone a
kitten but he was asking the right questions...

He named the kitten Molly and after one  day decided he wouldn't keep
her because she kept making too much noise. She was crying all the time
and explaining she was probably missing her mum and siblings cut no
mustard. Luckily a cat loving friend took her...

One of their cats doted on her and the other turned so aggressive he
started to bully her and things got so bad she was hiding all the time
and the cat who was being friendly to her started tearing his fur out
so however much they wanted to keep her it was becoming impossible.

Enter Jim the Gardener.

Jim says he never set out to have cats but he's the guy who always gets
the one's that no-one wants..to the tune of 20+ cats in his life , all
much loved and well looked after. He'd sworn that when Benj his current
feline crosses the bridge (He's only 12 through so it won't be for a
good time yet), he would have rats instead..he's always liked the idea
of rats as pets but it seems Bast had other ideas

So Molly is at Jim's and so far Benj has only shown curiousity towards
the new arrival and things are looking good

So please purr that it works out. If it does, Molly has a splendid
indoor  forever home with a devoted slave

He has two daughters but they're both grown up and he doesn't see them
very much. (Bill's about 60)

So do I. I should see him tomorrow night so I'll let you know Monday
how its going. He's also hoping Molly and Benj will be company for each
other. Until about 2 years ago, there was always more than one cat in
the house and Jim thinks Benj doesn't like being the only cat in the
house

Poor Molly! She's really had a struggle finding a good home. Hope this
one works out! Sounds like the odds are certainly much better this time.
