Remember my daughter's rescue of barn kittens last June?  Last night she
sent me an update.  Here's what she wrote:

"Here are a few pictures of what two of the kittens look like now.  They are
growing up fast and apparently getting into everything.  These two live
together
in the same house.  They have new names, but used to be Sylvester and Buddy.
I'm so glad that they doing well.

Spitty is loving life with a family that has two young girls.  He makes his
round snuggling with both of them through the night.  I guess he just starts
purring when the girls approach him.

Gracie is at a home that she runs the show.  I saw pictures of her sprawled
out
on the couch, owning the place.  I guess she is a little trouble maker if
she
has free run of the house while everyone is gone.

That's all I know for now."

I put the pictures in Annie's folder on Yahoo's RPCA_Pictures.  They are
called Buddy 1, Buddy 2, Sylvester 1 and Sylvester 2. I tried to rearrange
the photos so that the newer ones would be next to their kitten photos, but
got an error page telling me that I was not allowed to do that because I did
not own the album.  Go figure.  I wonder who does own that folder with my
photos.
Anyway, Buddy is the first kitten to tame up and helped my daughter tame the
rest.  Spitty is the one who hissed and did the Halloween cat imitation at
first, hence the name.  Now, his little girl slaves have named him Lovey.
Gracie is Kitten 6 in the album. My daughter did not send an updated photo
of her.
Of the other two kittens, one went to a vet tech and the other two a home.
One of my daughter's friends lives near the home and reported that she has
gone by and seen that cat hanging out on the front porch, looking as if all
is right with the world.
The mother barn cat is still wild, but early the other morning, she was
spotted sitting on the back porch.  I sent my daughter the Rules for Stray
Cats. (He he he).

Just thought those who sent purrs and encouragement last June would like to
know, and everyone would like some happy news.

Awwwww, how sweet!  I love little tuxedo-wearing kitties.  They look at lot
alike except for a bit more white on Sylvester's face.

Hugs,

What a wonderful post, Annie!  Your daughter should feel really proud that
she made such a difference for these kitties' lives!
