Abelard loves melon juice!

I cut my watermelon in half crosswise and scoop out the innards. The juice
collects in the center like a bowl. There is too much for one person so I
give up half the melon hoping the cats will like some.

Nobody will eat the melon, but Abelard has been drinking the juice. He's the
only one and he sure is going for it in a big way. In fact he's eating and
drinking like crazy for as hot as it is, I guess trying to put back the
weight he lost when he was sick.

It's so amusing to watch a cat drinking juice out of a melon bowl. I wish
there was more light in the kitchen. Just one window and an overhead lamp,
so pictures can't work.

I don't understand why my digital camera needs so much light to make a
decent pic.

Earlier today Abelard got on the "top floor" of the new cat condo with
Beatrice and she gave him a bath while I stood by with the camera on Video
capturing the whole thing. There was plenty of light, and I thought I had
the very best little clip ever, but then when I went to process it, nothing
was there!

I will try again tomorrow....

I can just picture it!  :~)   Way to go, Abelard!   (You've got to snap a
pic of this!)

Your camera doesn't have a flash?
