Since Cheryl said we need it.... Dedicated to Catnipped with purrs for all the best. Now I don't usually care for blues music but.... *enter SMOKEY* I got those leaky-trailer fast-bunny hungry-feral ain't no pizza blues I'm a feral boy, I been huntin' and been payin' my dues But the jackrabbits keep gettin' quicker if it rain's I'm gonna get sicker cause the trailer's sorta wet and kitties, well we don't get to sue... *enter NOCTURNE* I've got the humans-are-so-stupid-I-don't-think-that-I-can-stand-it blues.... Why can't the hairless monkeys do the things that I have told them to do? It's difficult running the planet It's getting so that I can't stand it I should ship them off to Pluto, blast a rocketship off on my cue! *enter BITTIES* We've got the sweet-little-kittens-Daddy-don't-you-make-us-grow-up blues We're precious little bitties, for the price of one you're gonna get two! I have many things to write about in this thread, but I want to start with my f'd up job. This blues ditty is dedicated to the idiots at work. The ones that have caused me to develop a twitch in my forhead that starts up every time I hear a commercial on the radio for the big company that I now work for. It isn't the new company that causes my stress, it is certain people I've worked with for years that have all of a sudden decided that once given some "power", that they are yielding it mercilessly. To the point that I can't do my job without asking someone to give someone access somewhere. A thing I used to be able to do myself. Not very funny, but my first attempt. Sung to the tune of Big Bill Broonzy's "I get the blues when it rains" I get a twitch now when it airs, A twitch that I can't lose when it airs, With each "ACCESS DENIED" that falls on my computer screen, It mocks me of when I was diety of all that could be seen. I'd sit and wait for the rights To shine down on me once again, It was granted when I found you, You know, it was denied when you sold out, I gets the blues, shitheads, when it errs. I gets the blues when it errs, Blues that I can't lose when it errs, Each access denied that falls on my computer screen, All they remind, shitheads, tears I shed in vain. So, the only "blues rhythm" I have memorized is two lines of a song in the old Tale Spin Cartoon from the '90s called "I got those flat-broke sticky-shoed no-banana boogie-woogie blues," and extrapolated the rest from there. --Fil > Cause he'll put a thermometer way up where you hafta go poo.....
