Pam and Rob have left Genesis and are driving home. We enjoyed the visit
immensely and were happy to provide a mini-vacation for the Shirks.
It seems mighty quiet here now.
Cinder is sleeping on the bed and hugging the catnip snake Pam made for her.
Rosie is napping in her den. Cinder did her best to be the hostess, with no
help from Rosie at all.
Weather and boat gremlins permitting, we will head back to S. Myrtle Beach
on Monday. It should take three days. That will be the end of our cruise
for this year.
As I have mentioned before, we are expecting a grandson in September and
will spend the fall and winter in the Pacific Northwest freezing our tails
off, but enjoying the family time.
